The Rotondes crew has come up trumps again by providing us with 3 pairs of tickets to give away to readers for the upcoming gig by Black Marble.
Pitchfork has described Chris Stewart’s third Black Marble album, “Bigger Than Life”, “a rumination on loneliness in Los Angeles. It is indeed, an ode to Stewart’s new home, and what he calls a shimmering synth-pop response to its cacophony. But he says it also allowed him to practice gratitude and humility. Perhaps Mojo summed it up best when it called the record “Depeche Mode for the juicing era.” Check out for yourself by listening to album tracks “One Eye Open” or “Private Show”.
