Punters at this year’s annual duck race stand a chance of winning a Volkswagen Up.
Postponed because of the funeral of Grand Duke Jean, the annual duck race takes place this Saturday afternoon. The event sees thousands of ducks released into the Petrusse in a family-friendly atmosphere.
Organised by Roundtable Luxembourg, this year proceeds will go to support the work of not-for-profits Aide à l’Enfance de l’Inde et du Nepal, Rokku mi Rokka, Stiftung Kinderchirurgie, and Hawassachildone.
Tickets cost €5 per rubber duck and can be purchased via the event website. While the event kicks off at noon, the race itself is scheduled for 3 p.m.
