The Hungarian stand of the International Bazaar is hosting its traditional fund-raising movie projection.
Krisztina Goda’s “Búék” (“Happy New Year”) is a comedy based on Paolo Genovese’s “Perfetti sconosciuti” (“Perfect Strangers”). It centres on seven childhood friends who meet up for their traditional joint celebration of New Year’s Eve. But this time they decide to make the congratulatory calls and texts they send and receive public, believing they all have nothing to hide. Much hilarity ensues.
The film, which won the audience prize at the Hungarian Film Awards, will be screened in its original version with English subtitles. Entrance costs €10, which goes to the charities supported by the Bazar International. The screening will be followed by a snack and drink and discussion.
